Well, I decided that I was tired of "purple" skined drow so I've gone to a dark grey-brown color, which I'm finding I much prefer.

This is a remake of sorts of my first drow picture a few posts back, but she's now a Necromancer. I'm very pleased with this piece and it would have to be my best to-date so far.

EDIT: Had to repost is as I'm an idiot and forgot my sig on it :P

Just wanted to let you know that this is frickin amazing beyond all hell and heaven and whatever else is out there. I love this so much @_@ You've gotten so much better! The pose, the colors, the lighting...everything's so perfect!

this is awesome!! yes, it is better that you got rid of the purple drow, as cool as they were. Its closer to pitch black than anything, and i remember one of R.A. Salvatore's books describing their skin "as black as pitch." this is amazing!! I love it. I would also really like to see you draw Briza Do'Urdern now that i look at this, maybe even Zaknafien Do'Urden or Drizzt Do'Urden. I would love to see your take on male drow. this is just awesome!!! :+favlove: :D

If I"m correct the "as black as pitch." was from Homeland. I'm reading the trilogy right now :) I think I would love to draw Drizzt....he's turning out to be my favorite drow.

Oh, and if you love drow I suggest checking out the online comic Drowtales . Good comic, and not just because I'm working on Kern's Daydream section XD

HAHA! what a coincidence, i finished reading homeland for the first time about 4 days ago, and now im reading exile. I have a strange feeling your creative muses will explode with joy when you meet guenhwyvar. the pair (drizzt and guenhwyvar) is as irrisistable as Drizzt and Zak. I cant wait to see what fanart you can produce on the subjects. :D and i shall check out the comic ASAP! :boogie:
