This is a character design for the next Shades of Desire, one I hope to maybe publish. This is Virrel one of the 2 drow sisters who star in Shades of Desire 2.

I decided to digitally ink this piece with vector lines and then used my usually coloring style. All in all I've very very happy with it. Though this method takes much more time SoD2 is something I planed to put my best into (and of course I'm having my fiance script is as he's an excellent writer. Check out some of his stories here )

EDIT: this is still a work in progress. I'll update this post with the completed version soon.

crazy, your lineart compared to your color work seems... lacking. dunno.

details = top notch, no worries there. i think she's a bit too chunky/thick in the middle, or too wide in the shoulders. and the way her armor is holding her chest up bugs me, but i really can't say it's right or wrong.

the shading so far adds tons to the face, really sells it well. so by the time you get the rest colored, it will be golden.

Whoa, that is incredible. Obviously, it's a fantastic piece. I high five ya for the usage of lined paper! I dig the curvilinear of the figure. Awesome stuff. How I pine for such perfection in figure study. u.u;

I liked the body very much, but something about the face keeps poking me. Very nice colours.

Probably because she has no expression on her face. I drew her and her sister as mearly guides for myself for when I draw the comic. So with that the picture does fall flat.
